The Chipping Norton Stakes is a 1600m Group 1 race run at Randwick in Sydney in March. A queue of horses were waiting to be crowned the latest weight-for-age hero and winner was Casino Prince, which paid $7.10 on NSW TAB. Earlier the Chipping Norton Stakes winner won the Group 3 Skyline Stakes and was one of the favourites for the Group 1 Golden Slipper. Casino Prince did win the Group 2 Alister Clark Stakes at Moonee Valley in February 2007 and was second to Miss Finland in the Group I Cadbury Guineas at Flemington.
